CEPR-NBER-Oxford Saïd-CFS-EIEF Conference on Household Finance

The Centre ofor Economic policy Research (CEPR), the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), the Center for Financial Studies at Goethe University Frankfurt (CFS), the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford and EIEF organized a two-day conference on Household Finance. We define household finance broadly to include the many financial decisions made by households, including the financial functions of payments, saving and investing/portfolio-choice, borrowing/credit, and risk management. Households do not make their decisions in a vacuum, and so the field also encompasses the actions of businesses and government.
