The Board

The role of the board is to provide strategic inputs to EIEF's research agenda and to monitor and assess the output of the research activity, the quality of the training offered and of the conferences and seminars organized. The board has five members: two come from the Bank of Italy, three are internationally renowned academics. The Bank of Italy members are:

• Luigi Federico Signorini
• Paolo Angelini

The academic members are:

• Graziella Bertocchi, (President), University of Modena and Reggio Emilia
• Roland Bénabou, Princeton University
• Monika Piazzesi, Stanford University

The appointment to the board is for three years, renewable. The first time the length of the appointment allows for a suitable staggering.
